Hi all i have a question,
i am going on holiday for 7 weeks and dont want my two cacti to die, one of them is a little Ferocacti, and the other im trying to find out what it is on the net right now,

if i give them a hefty watering and leave them for seven weeks, should they be ok?
they will be indoors as its very cold over here in london
    regards
    M

Better to try to find someone you can trust to look after them for you.

The second one looks like a Euphorbia trigona (it is not a cactus). Both will survive 7 weeks without water. I don't water my Ferocactus plants from late September until March/April, not even those that are just 2-3 cm in diameter (but the temperature is lower, 5-15°C). Watering a Ferocactus during winter can be dangerous, they rot more easily now than in summer.

    Hi Everyone,

When I go on vacation I don't water my succulents and they do fine. I wouldn't worry too much if I was you. Hope you have a great trip!
