Hi there, hoping someone can help!
We have a giant sequoia in our front yard (South Surrey, BC). Last summer we took out a hedge that was under and around it (see pic) and added some soil and plantings. Initially, she seemed VERY happy and dropped significantly less needles and cones. She has started to turn yellow within the last few weeks (see pics). Should I be worried? Do I need to do anything?

    Thank you!

Looks OK to me; there's a single twig that has died, perhaps broken or cut by a squirrel or similar.

Where abouts in Surrey? I would like to drop by and take some non-invasive measurements.

Just a heads-up -- better to do this via private messaging, that way folks can decide whether they want to participate or not. As we all know, there seem to be changes globally where trust gets taken advantage of. Also, we much prefer no addresses in public areas of the forum, even if you folks do decide to proceed.
