I have been growing garlic for 3 years now, on my son's acreage on the saanich peninsula. In order to avoid fungus and rot etc., I know that I need to rotate my garlic crop. But more specifically, should I grow garlic in a bed, then not grow it there for 2 years? or for just 1 year? Can I plant another veg there that's not a member of the onion/garlic family? What plant would be best? thank-you, Lydia
