While I am relatively new to gardening I have managed to atleast not kill the plants that I am currently growing. While our backyard is not something I wish to tackle(too big for a beginner like me...) I do want to start off in the front of the house with plants rather than the grass we have. Any seggestions on how I can get the ugly grass off and some suggestions for beginner front lawn plants...??? I do have a bunch of bulbs on the sidelines but I would rather like to have just soil to start with. Thanx in advance -Nayana p.s: I live in mississauga Ontario and I'm assuming I live in a zone 5b
