I discovered a fuzzy white bug on my Orchids last night. It was just one and it was sitting on a flower petal. I got too close and it hopped to the leaves of another orchid and then spent the next hour or so walking around on the leaves. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Wooly Aphid, because those are much smaller and they kind of float through the air. This seemed like a type on Leafhopper maybe...
Anyone know what it is and if it could damage my plants?
    Thanks.

Sounds like whitefly ( and now there's a new Giant whitefly!)

Poor air circulation makes them very happy. Hose them off your orchids (frequently) and set up a gentle fan to keep the air moving, if you can. They WILL damage your plants and are very hard to get rid of.

Check out diatomaceous earth as a non-toxic way to eliminate insects.

    Good luck.

Hmmm... I don't think it's whitefly. The pictures I looked at online of whitefly look like white flies. They're not fuzzy.
This thing literally looked like a piece of lint with legs. lol. I haven't seen it since, though, so I guess it's not a big deal. Thanks anyway.
