Does anybody know of a fungus that produces a chemical capable of treating and possibly curing blood clots? I'm finding it hard to find information on it (any books on the subject would be very helpful to).

I believe the fungus is extremely common in swamps (then again I would think that could include just about any fungus out there lol)

    Start with www.fungi.com

I am sure that Paul Stamet must have it somewhere in his site or books

Hm...thanx, I looked up some of the information and I THINK that might be the mystery chemical I'm looking for, but the fungus (which what I'm trying to find clues to) is just to hard to find x.x is there a fungus that is known as "swamp fungus" by like a nickname or something...or maybe thats where it's real name comes from..
