Hi all, Does anyone know what this is? Found it in my garden in Scotland. Yesterday it was closed at the top and looked like a big white mushroom but today it has rotted or opened at the top exposing the inner green/brown stuff which looks like poo. Dug it up to throw away then decided to take a pic - sorry it's not very sharp but you can see it's shape and colour. Any ideas or suggestions or other sites to post for an id? Thank you.
something in the family Hymenogastraceae (for example similar to something in the genus thaxterogaster)?
