I have a two year old Japanese Red Maple (Acer palmatum atro-purpurea) which is doing quite well in a clay pot. We are going away for 5 weeks at the end of May. I have a Water Worm set up for irrigation but I also plan to 'bomb' the house with a fogger containing Pyrenthrins .050% when we leave because our kitten made us a present of fleas!. Is this advisable or could the chemical harm the tree. Any advice would be appreciated.
