    Hi there,

I am having a difficult time with Spider Mites in my garden.
    Specifically the Two-spotted Spider Mite.
I have tried the products sold at the hardware stores claiming to be miticides to no avail. I have had limited success with Oil Dormants too.
Recently, I read about a "new" miticide from Bayer called Forbid 4F.
Its active ingredient is Spiromesifin and it is a translaminar which is great.
I'd like to give it a try.
I have found vendors in the US but prefer ones in Canada.
    I am in Montreal.
Does any one know where I could purchase this product in Canada?
Any advice/suggestions on other products that I could use and where can I purchase them please.

I really appreciate any ones input and would be grateful for any guidance.

    Alister

I tried it for the first time this year and I must say I don't think it is all it cracked up to be. I still have spider mites..flower thrips...cut worms..mildew and japanese beetle damage. They tell you to apply every 6 weeks...that is most of the summer! I think Rose Defence works better.

I have my best success at controlling Mites using Lime Sulphur. It seems to burn eggs right through to adults. And one treatment seems to do the job. Of course one has to becareful not to burn plants. I usually use it on Cedar and Spruce. I never have much luck with traditional miticides. Jim.
