foraging/edible plants

Hi,
I just registered. Is this a good place to discuss foraging and edible plants. Specifically, I have some questions about fern and fiddlehead identification.

I use the US date base
I think the US DATA base search engin is better even though it is a UK forum.

 

Thanks! That's an excellent resource, I've used it before. Better if you know the latin or common name, though.
