I know that certain flowers & veggies grow well together but I'm not sure which ones go with each other, does anyone else?
Don't waste your time deciding. It is mostly nonsense, but makes good conversation, and sells garden books.
Ron, companion planting is for vegetables, not flowers with vegetables right? There are herbs and vegetables that have great companion benefits. I would say to Teri, worry more about what veges you want to plant, as well as herbs, and make sure that you have companion planting with the designed area. Then add flowering plants that attract bees, butterflies, etc that will help against insects, and to help befefit the garden.
