flowering chinese evergreen

    My sister had a chinese evergreen in her house that the landloard gave her. Dont know how old it is or nehting. I give it gerneral care, i water whenever the top 1/4 inch of soil gets dry and its in a south facing window. I looked today and theres a flower on it. Diidnt think that it ever did.

    Notice the familial resemblance to anthurium, spathiphyllum, philodendron etc.

    actually stupid me thought it was a dieffenbachia lol. Deep down inside i new it was a chinese evergreen. So what do i do with the white spike? r is it jus the part of the flower?

    Leave it and hope for berries, which have their own interest.

    berries?, like fruit? lol does that mean i might be able to grow it from seed?
