We had a tree service in and while they were throwing down large fir limbs , they clipped the top leader of my fern leaf maple and knocked it off just a hair above the intersection with the lower horizontal branch. That lower limb is still sturdy and stable. The place where the leader broke off is about a 1" diameter. It will it grow another leader won't it? Do I need to do anything apart from murdering the tree guy? ( But then again, the Russian lace vine in the firs almost did him in....) Thanks, Jane
