I'm hoping someone here may be able to peg this one. It looks *awfully* familiar to me, but I can't quite pin it, and can't remember when or where I may have seen the bugger before. I'm fairly certain it's a Pteris, based on the crosier form, and I will be a *very* happy little camper if this actually is what I think it may be (tripartita). This popped up a few months ago in a pot of Cyrtomium falcatum, and it is quite obviously not... Definitely not a Houston area native, though, so it likely rode in with the holly fern when I bought it last year, as I would know if anyone within 10 miles of me had something like this!

    Thanks much all!

Valdy Pierozynski pegged it off-list for me... Pteris dentata!
