does anyone know in detail all about bench grafting F. sylvatica 1year old seedlings and especially how the moisture levels affects the graft? Im in Ireland and will be grafting in January and will be using the same beech specie for rootstock and scion. Someone mentioned to me that Beech doesn't graft successfully at high moisture levels. Could someone shed some light on this please? Thanks Ruth.
