I have just been given some clearance eucomis bulbs (july 22). I'm wondering if I should plant them, even though they won't bloom this year, and then dig and store in fall or just put them in a paper bag in the garage and wait to plant until next spring. Any advice?
Thank you for introducing me to eucomis---had not heard of it! Beautiful, striking plant. Perhaps a bit late for this year. I vote for the paper bag and next spring. I enjoyed this video:
