Does anyone have any suggestions on helping the lower section of my laurel hedge rejeuvinate? I plan on thinning out the upper sections and removing some of the old dead wood around the base. Furthermore, I plan to slope the top of the hedge in, as to expose the lower sections to more sunlight. My main concern is creating new growth at the base of the hedge and for that I need suggestions. Thanks, Noah
Let a goat at it :) Re growth is magnificent. Yes Ron's suggestion also works here. We have many of these hedges (big) as wind breaks and they are always being picked for foliage for florests and they are fine. Liz
