I bought this just under a year ago. It sits in a window with lots of afternoon sun. I water it about every other week. The last few months its been growing up instead of wider. Is this normal? I thought it would get larger in diameter not height. Thanks for the help.
It grows in height and tends to loose the lower leaves. Nonetheless, your echeveria seems to need more light because it is stretching towards the light. From the picture, it looks like there is a plant between the echeveria and the window, that would be a good idea to move it closer to the source of light.
