Here are some little purple beauties that just surfaced at our home. Being new owners, I have no idea what they may be. My internet searches have turned up nothing. Is seems to be Iris-like, but I could not match any photos in my searches. The leaves remind me of a crocus and the flower and iris. Any help would be appreciated. I would suspect with the warm weather we have been having these are a little earlier than usual. We can see dafodils pushing green leaves, but no flowers yet. These are by far the first bulbs of spring here. Many thanks.
Thank you both. I am surprised at what a small plant the bulb forms and while I have grown smaller forms of Iris before, I was surprised to see these.
