    Hi all,

I'm new to this board and new to caring for indoor plants. My wife and I bought a dracaena corn plant for our home and noticed the leaves started to turn brown and fall off.

I took pictures of it back to the store where I bought it and they said it needs more soil, nothing else. Due to the lack of soil, it was not holding the water I gave it. They said to continue giving it the same amount of water but to add a bag of soil to the pot which I did.

It has been about 2 weeks and some of the leaves continue to turn brown. My question is, should this stop soon and should the leaves that have fallen off (or that I removed by hand of with scissors) grow back and if so, how long?

    Thanks very much!

    Jason
