I'm afraid I don't have a green thumb, but have decided to try again. (I've killed everything from a ficus to a cactus!) I found this awesome plant at Walmart and it didn't have a name on it. I tried to put an attachment, but I'm new at this also, so I'm not sure if you can see it. It has "hairy" red stems and the leaves remind me of maple tree leaves except they are spring green and have red veins. If anyone knows the name, I would appreciate it so that I can find the proper way to care for it. It turned heads as I carried it through Walmart in my buggy!
definitely a begonia. i have no idea which one - there are SO many!! do a search of this site and google 'caring for begonia' and whatever you come up with should do fine for this one...i don't think there's too much difference with the care needs between the different varieties.
