Can you tell me how to remove the off shuts or pups from the bottom of my Dicksonia antarctica and pot them up to grow a new plant. The tree has been in the ground for one year and has come through the winter nicely. The trunk is about 18" high with two pups at the base of the trunk

Are you sure that is what you have? Just not sure I have seen this. These tree ferns grow wild here as part of our native temperate forest. Also have a couple in garden that are about 20 years old.
    Do you have a pic???
