A beautiful deeply convex specimin...growing near a fresh-fed pool of water that also has fern and liverwart growing all around. Found in Westbend State Park.......it was 1 1/4inch across.....stood 1 inch high. The pale cream/orange gills were attached to a lighter colored stem that was slightly fuzzy at the base and less then half the height of the actual mushroom. The cap was a pale salmon orange/pink tone with light tracings of lines radiating towards the center. No noticible odor nor did I take a spore sample as it was the only one there.
