I have several day lilies and some of them seem to have a problem - the flowers wither and the stems turn black, as if they have been burned. I have had gall midge in the past, but this doesn't look like that. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to treat this and whether I can put the blackened stems in the Yard Waste
