Hi. I hope someone can help me. I have a lot of Day Lilly seeds and they have been in the fridge for 6 weeks now. I read that after 6 weeks I should take them out and plant them. Is this correct and, if so, should I use a special soil or add anything to the soil and should I let them warm up before planting? I really hope they work out.
Hi. Thanks for the info. How long should I keep them in the fridge...all winter? You see, winter has slowly begun here in Quebec
Dasha, leave your seeds in the refrigerator for 6 weeks. Then you can sow them in pots in the house. Here's another site about germinating plants from seed. Daylily is listed as Hemerocallis. http://earthnotes.tripod.com/seeds_h.htm The #3 they are referring to is how long to leave it in cold. That can be found on the first page here under 'Special Treatment'. http://earthnotes.tripod.com/seeds.htm Newt
