I just planted three Daphne odora in a well drained elevated bed and they are looking very sickly.

One seems to be doing OK yet not robust. The other two are failing, the worst of the three have leaves which are totally drooped and a very dark green, its dead as far as I am concerned.

The other one one does is not fully drooped, The healthiest does not have leaves that are totally upright and happy.

When I plant these things should I be using a fungicide as I do when I plant heuchera.

I have had the same results when I installed heuchera so I started using a light foliar spray of Phyton 27 with great success. Do you think I would get the same success with Daphne?

Depends on what, exactly is wrong with them and if that particular pesticide would have any effect.
