Identification: Could this be an indoor palm tree?

    I have been told this is an indoor palm tree, but I am not sure excatly what it is or if it is a palm tree what kind it would be. I got it when it was only 5 inches tall and now 3 years later it is over 6 feet tall. It does like to be in front of a window.
