I have a few indoor garden name "corn plants". I was wondering if anyone knows what to do once the leaves die off. Can you cut the stalk of the plant to entice it to produce more leaves?

If there are no leaves at all your plant is dead. If there are leaves at the top then you can cut off the top (best done while the plant is actively growing). The top can be planted again and the trunk should sprout more growth.

Probably best done in spring or summer...

Thank you. Your response is what I had guessed would be my option.

    Thank you for your time.

Just on replanting the "crown", I always strip 1/3 of the leaves off, just so the plant can concentrate on new growth...
