This corn plant is from my mother's funeral (2016). It was doing beautifully for years, had 2 or 3 shoots. It was transplanted about 3 years ago and I now know I overwatered it. The trunk has decayed and the bark has come off. However, it's still producing new growth. Not sure what to do with it now. Can the trunk be cut above the rot and planted, or the stalk be cut and planted? I'm very sentimental and want to do what I can to save it.
