Hi guys, what type of soil does a Corkscrew Hazel like?

    I live in London U.K.

My topsoil is '2-00" deep, below is London clay!

Often sold grafted on other hazels here, such as Turkish hazel. Some cutting raised stock is also available. Hazels generally need good drainage, if you do not have damp soil conditions it will probably do fine.

    Thanks Ron,

As an addendum, will I have problem with 'suckers' if it's grafted on to a root stock?

    Yes: suckers are likely.
