Hmm - it says it's a jpg. From his photos page, and from his home page. The asparagus worked, didn't it? http://durgan.org/2021/May 2021/13 May 2021 Aspargus 5th Cutting/HTML/dsc_0003_std.jpg Here is a photo from a webpage
What if I drag in the photo. Mine Durgan's - I get nothing when I drag it from the home page, and get a marker when I drag a photo from 14 May 2021 Fern-Leaf Peony (Paeonia tenuifolia) (durgan.org)
Same result linking to the expanded photo. The url of that is 14 May 2021 Fern-Leaf Peony (Paeonia tenuifolia) (durgan.org). That's an html page. When I copy the image link, it's http://durgan.org/2021/May 2021/14 ...ny (Paeonia tenuifolia)/HTML/dsc_0001_std.jpg When I paste it using the image icon above, I get
Just testing It seems, that the problem lies not in the photo, but in the long URL of it (or multiple spaces in the URL).
That could be, as I was unable to save it with the original name. But Daniel Mosquin replied, in a conversation I think, that he thought it was because the page is not using https, and when we went to that protocol, our software will not import photos from pages that are http. Well, I can test that. Seems to allow the link this ok.
Frames should not have any impact, as image URL does not contain frame - frame is just an element of html page.
Nothing special - downloaded the photo and uploaded it into the upload.ee server. This server automatically replaces spaces in names with underscores.
Just checked on my phone. There all pictures look ok. Unless somebody just fixed the issue, that thing got even stranger. Should go back to my computer and look again...
Nope! On my computer browser the issue is still present. In my phone everything is ok even in initial postings. EDIT: The problem is there in my computer's Opera browser, but in Firefox it is not there even in my computer. left FF, right Opera
Yes, for me too, on Android, whatever the default browser is. [edited]And Firefox is ok for me. Not Chrome or Edge. Thank you!
