Hello - does anyone here have safe, useful info about how to stop my neighbour's Hedera Helix (English Ivy) from climbing over fences etc and invading my garden and climbing up trees and fences

what a plague this darn plant is

not only in parks (as mentioned in older posts - like at Jericho and woodland parks too)

    but in gardens.

ps - edit to add - I meant to say that I think the neighbour thinks it is useful - just as a groundcover etc - meanwhile, it grows up and over 8-foot hedges

(don't even get me started on the ubiquitous Vancouver Bc laurel ; )

    thank you
