Contact a member - How to send a private message to a forum member (= have a Conversation)

There are two ways to send a private message to a forum member. It helps to know that the term here is Conversation.

From a posting by the person to whom you want to send a message
Find a posting by the person you want to contact. Click that person's user name any of the places you see it. Click Start a Conversation. The user name of the person you want to contact will already be entered.

From your profile menu

Finding previous conversations

You can filter your list of conversations by user, using the "Conversation Display Options" tab at the bottom centre of the page. Select a user and received from / sent by and click Set Options.

It automatically resets to blank.
