Great work! However, with so large list of unresolved names, it looks like just a beginning. Hopefully, they will not stop at this point.
Took a look at it - it is full of errors, the inevitable result of (as they say) "combining multiple checklist data sets held by these institutions and other collaborators" with what looks to be inadequate cross-checking between the different sources. So I'd not take it too seriously until they have done a lot of sorting out.
Still a long way to go as a result of all the undiscovered species on the planet. Dr. Tom Croat at the Missouri Botanical Garden and botanist Peter Boyce in Malayis recently stated they expect the list of aroid species along to climb from the current 3900 or so species to well over 6000 species in the next few years. A world list of plant genera is in the works. When I was a student back in the 1970s, the Smithsonian was hosting a project to compile an "Index Nominum Genericorum"--a genus list.
