We have had a coffee plant (Coffee Arabica) for the past three years. When first purchased, it had beautiful dark green leaves but not flowers. Now, three years later, this is whats left. The leaves keep wilting and turning brown, no flowers, and just a poor growing plant. We have tried several locations, different watering patterns, and feeds, but nothing seems to change. Really open to suggestion from your forum. I have included three photos of the plant as current growth.
I have experience ONLY with WILD coffee, so discount much of what I say, but thought I would comment to try to kick-off a discussion for you with people more knowledgeable than I. Seems that, from my travels, coffee thrives in volcanic soil, without the benefit of much amendment. Photos can fool you, but it appears that your poor old coffee plant is trying to grow as a greenhouse plant in a sphagnum mix of some kind. If so, my supposition is that he is dying from too much water. The leaves , with their tell-tale brown tips would tend to bear this out. Hope this draws out some of the experts for you. Good luck!
