Anyone use CO2 for their houseplants? There's yeast CO2 which gets messy with alcohol/acetic acid byproduct containers. I've also heard of compost. Anyone use a paintball CO2 tank or is it not enough?
There is plenty of that stuff in the atmosphere already, why add more? Do you keep your plants in a hermetically sealed greenhouse, or are they supposed to grow better if the CO2 concentration is higher than normal?
Marijuana growers often add additional carbon dioxide to the air to speed growth (I don't know where they get it from, or in what form.), but I've never heard of anybody doing it for houseplants.
So that's why. Well, my plants are in a ventilated room and grow too fast anyway, so this is something I have never considered :).
