Hi, Last spring I planted 6 climbing roses. They grew to about 10 feet and bloomed all summber. In the late fall I cut all of them down to about 12-15 inches off the ground. I am not sure if they will come back at all. Should I take them out and replant new ones? Thank you. I am new to this forum so sorry if I posted in the wrong place.

They will grow back but typically, one plants climbing roses with the intent of having them climb (and then remain) on a structure with only minor pruning thereafter. Sounds like you want a climbing rose that behaves like a tea rose?

    Yes, they should grow back.

Will the climbing roses grow back as tall?

Well, maybe not the first year, but eventually. 10' was a lot to remove.
