Hi I was wondering if I could plant climbing roses indoors on trellises. The room has a north facing window but I would be willing to provide the plant with artificial light. If not is there any other kind of rose that would work? or another kind of vine with beautiful flowers/fragance that can be gron indoor on trellises? Thank you!!!
Roses are hard to manage indoors. Another plant that needs it cooler and brighter than most household rooms are. Flowering house plants generally need much higher levels of light than is usual in ordinary spaces, without supplemental lighting being set up for them. (I do get holiday cacti to flower faithfully under conditions that aren't even bright enough for regular production from African violets). Maybe search www for "flowering house plants" or "house plants flowering" and see if anything is mentioned for blooming in north windows.
