Does anyone know if it's possible for a clementine mandarin to cross pollinate a sunburst tangerine tree? I also have a Washington navel orange. I've read that the sunburst tangerine requires a cross pollinator and I'm unable to find any information on whether the clementine mandarin is a possible pollinator. I did read your comments about the acid and was wondering if that would work for my situation if the clementine mandarin is not a compatible pollinator? Thanks so much
From what I've read Sunburst will still produce fruit but less than when pollinated. On the upside the fruit will be less seedy. The following documents may be of interest even though they don't provide answers to your questions: Sunburst Tangerine Pollination of Citrus Hybrids
