When I’ve moved from Vancouver to Kelowna. I brought with me all my grasses. One of them is called Chinese Giant (miscantus giganticus). They did excellent in Vancouver. They grow very high (~3m-4m). But here in Okanagan they hardly survive. I had them planted in big pots, water it every second day and place it on a sunny side. The same happened to my other grasses ( zebra, fountain). They almost gone. They drying up.
Please help me to save them .
    Thank you for your help.

Are they getting enough water, poke the down into the pot to make sure its all getting water. I have Miscanthus G as well, Likes a lot of water, and lots of root space, Are you sure the pots are quite big enough, I wouldn't think it would like a pot.

I've got a daylily in a pot I can't keep moist this summer either. If you could plant them in the ground instead of trying to manage them in pots that might help alot.
