Hi all, this is my first post. Can anyone help me identify the cause of these leaf spots on my chestnut sapling? It grows outside in direct sun and gets watered daily. But it seems to have stayed the same size, or it grew really slowly, the past couple of months. Is it a fungus?

Maybe daily watering and full sun is too much. The spots may be from water droplets being affected by the sun and burning the leaves ?

The leaves get droplets on them every time I water my plants... It's so obvious now. Thanks chimera!
