Hi all, I'm an animal keeper with Audubon and I have an oak in one of my stork enclosures. I'm not that great at plant identification, but I'm pretty sure it is a Cherrybark Oak. My birds nest in this tree every season and it is in need of some major trimming since it is comprimising the integrity of the enclosure. I was hoping someone could help and share any knowlege of this tree and what I could safely do to it without killing it. These birds will become very aggressive if they no longer have a suitable place to nest:( thanks! heather
