   It seems they've had a bit of a snowstorm and freezing weather in Washington, DC, just as the 'Some-yoshino' cherries are coming into bloom. @Willard sent me this link from March 15, 2017, with lots of photos:
   We checked on the cherry blossoms Tuesday during the storm. It doesn’t look good.
