I have a cedrus deodara in my backyard. It leans and then grows straight up. It spans the entire backyard- height? >50ft and still growing. Worried it may fall on house. Are it's roots shallow or deep?

You should be safe, cedars are windfirm. A bigger problem is shedding branches after heavy snow, but they would fall vertically down, so shouldn't hit the house.

If it is coming loose cracks will appear in the soil. But if you think there is a danger a qualified party should be viewing the tree in person.
