I planted four 5 foot cedar tress last summer, they did well all winter, in the spring I fertilized them with "all purpose garden fertilizer PINK", now they are all turning brown from top to bottom on one side only, is there anything I can do to turn them green again? I've pulled up as much as the fertilizer and placed new soil w/ bone meal down, doesn't seem to be helping.

Brown and crispy parts are dead and will not bounce back. Don't apply anymore mineral sources until you figure out what happened. Brown on one side could be winter burn.
