Hi, I have 2 big cedar trees by the house i just bough. The leafs are browning and i'm not sure if this is normal or if they are sick. Here are some pic i took.
It's actually an arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis), not a cedar (Cedrus). It certainly doesn't look happy, but it isn't possible to tell what the problem is from these photos without sharper detail.
Hi Michael.... before i start my name is also Michael F... lol Anyways thank you for your reply. If you can let me know what you need from me to make a better analysis of the problem please let me know and i will provide it. Can this be caused by winter burn? We had a horrible winter this year here in Canada and my yard was covered in 4 feet of snow until late April. I am just worried as i do not want to lose these great trees... they are probably 60 years old. Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
