We planted a cedar hedge about 16 months ago; 4' cedars, 16 of them. They have done very well intil about 2 weeks ago when we noticed that 2 of them had turned a lighter colour of green. Upon further inspection we found a mildew like material on the inside of the trees. This has happened to 2 of the 16. We do not want to lose these trees or have it spread to more of them. What is happening and how do we get rid of the problem. We live in the Okanogan in a hot dry climate.
