My cattleyas orchid sprouted not a flower bud, but a new baby plant about 15 inches up a bare stalk. This little plant has just started to put out roots. What do I do with it? Should I cut it off and pot up the baby? Will the parent plant keep going? I've never seen this and am not an experienced orchid grower. Thanks
