This lovely plant sat outside on my deck, unfortunately its got some yellowing on the tips of the leaves. Is it okay to cut those leaves off, or is there a better idea?

First, by 'Cast Iron Plant' do you mean Aspidistra elatior?

A better idea would be to figure out the reason for the yellowing and then correct it. Moisture, too much/too little? Time for a repot?

A photo would be of great help in diagnosis.

That could be a mite infestation, have a closer look. Maybe with a magnifier.

I have looked at it, no cob webs, no bugs. I only water when the soil is really dry.

Looks like the sun/drought scorch we see often in Texas.
Have you kept it in the shade at least from 2pm onwards?
