Do cardiocrinum baby bulbs need to be separated from the parent or can they be kept growing as a clump as they form around the original bulb ?

Only thing I know is that when the main bulb blooms it dies and then the babies start new plants. If the main bulb has bloomed I would think you could separate the little ones and plant and WAIT.
